How It Started
Built on a Lifetime of Passion
Florida Gun Doctor was founded in 2026 by Eddie Broker, a passionate shooter and trained gunsmith with a deep respect for firearms — their history, their craft, and their place in American culture.
After completing the American Gunsmithing Institute’s advanced program, Eddie opened his own shop in Brooksville with a simple premise: treat every customer like a fellow enthusiast, and treat every firearm like it matters. Because it does.
What started as a one-man operation has quickly grown into Brooksville’s go-to destination for custom builds, expert gunsmithing, appraisals, and FFL transfers. The philosophy hasn’t changed — we’re a small shop that does big work, and we still answer the phone.
